Facility Leader

The Big Picture: 

Purpose: To create a universal, effective, and safe training system to best serve the Synergy family. Synergy will act as a place between work and home where the member will experience a welcoming, supportive, and success oriented environment.

Result: Produces a true Synergy training experience. No matter which trainer the member is working with, the workout experience must be identical. Workouts are determined by the Synergy SYSTEM, not random based on the trainer.

Vision: The Synergy workout experience will excel in two areas: Member interactions and workout programming. They are not mutually exclusive and you’ll receive the Synergy Handbook and mentoring through the process.

Details

Here is an outline of the facility leader’s responsibilities.  The full list is in the handbook for review before accepting a position. 

  • Responsible for reviewing client goals/health histories and applying appropriate training methods.
  • Ensures all training in the facility follows the Synergy System. 
  • Ensures all client interactions follow the Synergy guidelines. 
  • Empowers trainers to use their strengths
  • Collects social media material and writes weekly newsletter submitted to the Chief Operating Officer. 
  • Reviews safety protocols for the facility and ensures everything follows code and Synergy standards. 
  • Welcomes client feedback and makes necessary adjustments when needed. 
  • Verifies all trainer certifications are valid (AED, CPR, First Aid, and training certification)

The facility leader reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and the COO is accountable for mentoring the facility leader.  

Requirements

Here are expectations for a facility leader applicant: 

  • Has the following certifications up do date before working with clients (may apply before if there is proof of testing dates):  AED, CPR, First Aid, reputable training certification
  • Associates degree as a minimum 
  • Can work morning class hours
  • Prior full time work experience in any field is required

Benefits

Synergy Part/Full Time Trainer

The Big Picture:

Result: This handbook will support you for producing a true Synergy training experience. No matter which trainer the member is working with, the workout experience must be identical. Workouts are determined by the Synergy SYSTEM, not random based on the trainer.

Vision: The Synergy workout experience will excel in two areas: Member interactions and workout programming. They are not mutually exclusive and you’ll receive the Synergy Handbook and mentoring through the process.

Details

Here is an outline of the full/part time trainers responsibilities: 

  • Create appropriate fitness programs within the Synergy System 
  • Study individual client goals/health histories for workout adjustments
  • Meets and greets every client as they come into Synergy
  • Follows up with clients based on the Facility Leader’s direction
  • Checking equipment for safety
  • Attends weekly stand up staff meetings with contributions and questions
  • Takes pride in the upkeep of the facility

Requirements

Here are expectations for a part/full time trainer:

  • Has the following certifications up do date before working with clients (may apply before if there is proof of testing dates): AED, CPR, First Aid, reputable training certification
  • Associates degree as a minimum
  • Can work morning class hours
  • Prior full time work experience in any field is required 
  • Benefits hourly wage based on experience plus increases based on facility membership.  Will receive direct mentorship from facility leader and a continuing education stipend
